Mara Byrd began serving with CEF right out College. She served as the Director of Teacher Training for CEF of Minnesota for a number of years. After moving to Arizona in 2013 , she was introduced to the ministry of CEF Arizona where she became involved and a new ministry was launched in Yavapai County. A local committee was established, and we called Mara in 2017 to officially become a missionary and paid local Director for CEF in Yavapai County. Today many Good News Clubs are established and the ministry in Yavapai County is expanding as we share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the children.
